Applied Network Management Services was founded by David Horn in 1998 and is
located in Marietta, GA.
Our objective is to provide the small to intermediate sized business' with IT
solutions that are affordable and flexible. Applied Network Management Services
provides top-notch Networking and Custom Database design, and great customer
support, at prices that can't be beat!
Through our commitment, experience,
and expertise Applied Network Management Services has established a business

Six years in the IT industry with a focus on networked environments, including:
one year performing on-site PC & printer support, two years as a Service Manager
for a metro Atlanta PC/network support company; and three years designing,
installing and optimizing networks. Recently completed projects include:
installation of 7 wide area networks (two of them incorporating voice-over
technology) and over two dozen local area networks with dedicated internet
access for e-mail and remote connectivity.

Power Products Unlimited,
Inc
PPU, a cellular phone accessory wholesaler, grossed just under 5
million last year. ANMS, Inc has been managing their network for
nearly two years. Their current topology consists of two Microsoft
NT servers and two dozen NT workstations. ANMS, Inc recommended &
implemented their LAN, internet and e-mail solutions; the
development of several small business database applications are
currently underway to aid PPU in tracking inventory and sales. ANMS,
Inc will continue to serve PPU with 100% of their IT needs through
block time service contracts.
The Creative Circus
The “Circus” is a
nationally known art school located in Atlanta. Their current system
topology includes 12 NT workstations, 50 Macintosh workstations and
a high-end NT server. ANMS, Inc has provided the “Circus” with
general IT support for nearly two years. During their recent
relocation, we were responsible for the design and installation of
their new network including internet and e-mail connectivity.
Daco Enterprises, Inc
Daco Enterprises is a
retailer& installer of Cultured Stone® Products and DaCote Stucco™.
ANMS currently handles their Network Maintenance and the design and
maintenance of their web site.
Nor-Ral Plastics
Nor-Ral is an
aerospace tooling manufacturer, in business over 30 years. ANMS, Inc
has been providing IT services for Nor-Ral for about 18 month’s.
When Nor-Ral began using ANMS, Inc they were struggling with used
cloned equipment as their production servers & workstations, we
recommended upgrades but had difficulty in proving the value until
they suffered major hardware failure and the loss of months of vital
data. After the purchase of a new server, backup system, UPS and
upgraded software, Nor-Ral’s network is optimized for their needs.
Nor-Ral has a new building under construction and is working with
ANMS, Inc on fiber optic connectivity between the work sites.
InStore Media, Inc
InStore Media
provides advertising media to the retail industry. They have two
large buildings, a manufacturing/warehouse facility and an
administrative building. ANMS, Inc has been working with InStore
Media for several months on the planning & design phase of a new
networking solution. Their new environment will include a
frame-relay link between the buildings, utilizing voice-over frame
technology to provide voice and data communications to users in both
buildings, along with internet connectivity.
Bluewater
Communications Group, LLC
BCG installs and maintains video and audio equipment for conference
and board rooms. They have been in business about 2 years and are
located in Norcross. ANMS, Inc worked with BCG in the planning and
implementation of their networking needs. Their system topology
includes one Microsoft NT server and eight NT workstations. After
the initial system installation, BCG required less than 20 hours of
support until software updates were necessary. Today BCG and ANMS,
Inc are working together to build a remote access solution for
mobile users and to upgrade their internet access to ADSL
technology. |
